Kangundo MP rubbishes online claims of  bursaries disbursement

By Agnes Orang’o

Kangundo Member of Parliament Fabian Muli has urged his constituents to ignore fake reports that he will be disbursing bursary cheques this week.

Speaking at Kangundo, Muli disowned a poster going round social media circles about bursary issuance.

He asked the locals to ignore it stating that it was fake and not from his office.

The lawmaker noted that any communication concerning bursary issuance is to be done through his agents and on his official social media pages.

According to him, the fake posts are from political opponents.

“I have seen a fake poster going around Whatsapp and Facebook. I would like to confirm that it is fake I will not be disbursing the bursaries this week as alleged. However, whenever I will be doing so it will be communicated to you by my people or my pages,” he said.

“Keep in mind that I do not do my announcements using bodaboda guys. Anything not announced through my agents should be believed as fake,” he added.

He further said that some of his opponents were also announcing fake meetings by him causing locals to gather and go home disappointed.

He called for tolerance and urged his competitors to sell their agenda and not dwell on sideshows as the big day beckons.
