Kanga High school is in mourning following the tragic death of Cleons Oremo, a respected Kiswahili and Geography teacher, who lost his life in a road accident at the Nandi Hills Escarpment while returning from joint marking duties at Kapsabet High School.

According to reports, Oremo was among educators engaged in national examination marking exercises when the fatal accident occurred along the hilly and treacherous stretch of the Nandi Hills route.

The incident has sent shockwaves across the education fraternity, with colleagues and students describing him as a dedicated, passionate and inspiring teacher.

At Kanga High School, Oremo was widely admired for his mastery of Kiswahili and Geography, subjects he delivered with clarity, creativity, and deep commitment.
