St Paul’s Amasago High School has been boosted after receiving a full games skits from alumnus Moses Afande.

Afande delivered the the skits after the school emerged the winner in that match, securing the title and triggering the promised donation.
It was happiness splashed at St Paul’s Amasago High School as the new Kisii Central Subcounty Soccer Kings received a full kit of uniforms and sports shoes from alumnus Moses Afande.
Afande and his entourage delivered the rewards to the school on the morning of June 17, in fulfilment of the pledge he made on condition that Amasago beat Nyanchwa Boys School during the final soccer encounter for Subcounty supremacy.
Amasago emerged the winner in that match, securing the title and triggering the promised donation.
Following that motivation, St Paul’s Amaago is now set to face their opponents at Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High School starting on June 18 as the Kisii County Term Two KSSSA games continue.
The county competition runs from June 17 to 20 at Cardinal Otunga High School, Mosocho.

In boys’ football, Amaago will be drawn into the knockout stage after winning Kisii Central. The other pools already in action are: Pool A with St Joseph’s Ong’icha, Ndonyo Mixed, and Nyamagwa Boys; Pool B with Machongo, Nyabisase Mixed, and Itierio Boys; Pool C with Nyanchwa, Mentembe, and Nyakoora; and Pool D with defending champions Sameta Boys, Nduru Boys, and Nyakorere.
For girls’ football, the pools are set with Mobamba facing Nyabigena and Eramba in Pool A, Omwari against Nyasore and Amaiko in Pool B, Gianchere meeting Nyabisase and Kerongorori in Pool C, and Etago taking on Sengera Parish and Metembe in Pool D. Pool matches in both categories continue tomorrow, 18 June.
Other disciplines underway at Cardinal Otunga include volleyball, netball, racquet games, basketball 3×3, chess, and scrabble. Rugby sevens for boys and girls is being hosted at Nyamache playground.
Kisii County Director of Education Philip Chirchir appealed to all schools to observe high discipline during the meetings.
