Hundreds of West Pokot teachers undergo TSC validation amid transfer fears

Teachers receive a briefing at the TSC Headquarters in West Pokot County.

Hundreds of teachers from West Pokot County are currently flocking to the TSC headquarters for the teachers’ validation exercise.

The exercise, which started on July 21, 2025, required Heads of Institutions (HoIs) and their deputies to present their latest promotional letters, transfer or posting to ones current station, the number of staff members in a school and the learner enrolment.

The exercise, which is well programmed by the TSC staff, allows teachers from particular zones to present their documents on specific days according to their zones.
