Gucha sub-county Director of Education James Adero has asked teachers to remain honest during and after the ongoing KCSE examinations.
Adero said he was happy that his sub-county remained tranquil for eight consecutive years without being involved in any examination irregularities.
He attributed the success to teachers’ invigilators and supervisors, who embraced self-discipline in the discharge of their duties.
The director expressed optimism on the 22 secondary schools examination centres that are set to crown the examinations by next week.
He thanked the Ministry of Education and Internal Security for the prompt coordination in the transportation of examinations to and from the centres.
“We enjoy their cordial relationship and anticipate it to continue for the coming years”, said he.
