Kenya National Union (KNUT) Makueni branch chairman Samuel Mulwa has called for fairness of same level playing ground in primary school children.
“Let’s have those children below age 11 years play as kids, below 12 years play as primary level and those below 15 years be junior secondary school level,” Mulwa.
As KNUT official, he emphasized on age level to the officials and the referees for fair play.
Mulwa was speaking during the official opening of regional level of Kenya primary school sports association athletics held at Makueni boys in Makueni county, also noted that if any official has never been there from grassroots, then they should not pick it up from the highest level and proceed to the next level.

“We don’t want shortcuts. Let give credit to where it’s due. Those officials who have participated from grassroots are the ones supposed to move to the next level but not any other person with intention of shortchanging,” Mulwa said.
He called for fair selection of the team proceeding to nationals wishing for good health to the participants throughout the period and beyond.
