Director of Janeiro Junior Academy in Kochia Ward, Rangwe sub county James Akello was pronounced dead recently of Covid-19 complications.
James popularly known as Jim died at Avenue Hospital in Kisumu County while undergoing treatment in the Intensive care unit.
Akello was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago where he took his last breath at 4am.
His uncle Moses Odhiambo Mege confirmed that Akello died of Covid-19 complications saying his last test came out negative but his lungs collapsed as a result causing his death.
Akello is also the proprietor of Janeiro Hospital, a private health facility within Nyagweso Trading centre in Rangwe sub county, Janeiro Junior Academy Annex in Rodi Kopany, Hard Rock Hotel and Green Park Mall in Homa Bay Town.
The late Akello will be laid to rest next week Friday on 23rd April 2021 at his home in Kochia.
