FEASSA 2025 handball draws released ahead of Kakamega games

The Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Associations (FEASSA) has released the handball draws for the 2025 Games, set to run from August 12 to 23 in Kakamega, Kenya.

In the boys’ category, Group A will feature Kamito Secondary School (Kenya), Mbogo Mixed Secondary School (Uganda), Bombo Army Secondary School (Uganda), ES Kigoma (Rwanda), Kimondo Secondary School (Tanzania), and Highway Secondary School (Kenya).

Group B includes Kimilili High School (Kenya), Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School (Uganda), ADEGI (Rwanda), Gombe Secondary School (Uganda), Kilombero Secondary School (Tanzania), Manyatta Secondary School (Kenya), and a guest team from Ivory Coast.

In the girls’ competition, Group A will see St. Joseph Girls Kitale (Kenya) take on Kibuli Secondary School (Uganda), Dagoretti Mixed Secondary School (Kenya), Doingoya Secondary School (Tanzania), and Kawanda Secondary School (Uganda).

Group B will comprise Mbogo High School (Uganda), Kadika Girls (Kenya), Maweni Secondary School (Tanzania), Moi Girls Kamusinga (Kenya), Gombe Secondary School (Uganda), and ES Nyamgabe (Rwanda).

Organisers say the Kakamega games will bring together top school teams from across East Africa and beyond, with matches expected to attract large local crowds and scouts looking for emerging talent.
