The family and the Talau Junior School fraternity is reaching out with a heartfelt appeal to support Saida Cheptoo, a bright 17-year-old student of Talau Junior School, who was recently diagnosed with a critical heart condition at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Eldoret, requiring immediate surgery.
They have admitted that as the Saida’s family, they are facing an impossible financial burden, and therefore urging anyone to consider contributing towards her life-saving treatment.

It is reported that Saida’s heart surgery costs Ksh 1.5 million, an amount her family cannot afford. Without this surgery, her condition will deteriorate, putting her life at risk. Currently, Saida’s daily life is severely impacted – she can’t sleep, play, or walk normally due to her swollen tummy, making everyday.
