Equity Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. James Mwangi has encouraged students to exercise self-control and keep off from retrogressive cultural practices.
Speaking at Emurua Dikirr Secondary School in Trans Mara East Sub county where he was commissioning the Wings to fly scholarships, Dr. Mwangi advised young people that there are consequences for every action and that they should take care of their feelings by saying ‘no’ to cravings that ruin their future.
“When your body pushes you because of hormonal transformation, use your head to control your body. Otherwise you will engage in things you will regret later,” he passionately said.
He also called upon young people to be focused because they are the future of our country.
108 bright children from poor backgrounds benefited from the Wings to Fly programme.
