End of era: Talai High closes door as Moi TTC takes over facilities today

After 49 years of existence, Talai High School has officially closed its doors as a secondary school paving way for the full establishment of the Moi Teachers Training College in Baringo County.

Today, parents and guardians collected their sons and daughters for relocation to other institutions.

Students have been transferred to schools including Pemwai Girls, Tabagon Girls, Tenges Boys, and Oinabmoi Boys.

Meanwhile, Form Four candidates will complete their studies and sit for their final exams at Kituro High School.

This transition follows the admission of Kabarnet University’s first cohort, who reported to Moi Teachers Seretunin on Thursday.
