Parents in Nakuru County have been urged to embrace the new system of education.
Area director of education Lawrence Karuntimi said Competency Based Curriculum that is being implemented by the Ministry of Education will improve on the education quality.
“The new syllabus changes methodology in teaching and this will enable offering of quality education and nurturing of talents among learners,” he said.
He said that they have been doing assessment in every sub-county to ensure that quality education is administered and resources are used well.
