Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has assured that adequate security will be in place starting tomorrow, as national examinations begin.
Murkomen said that members of the provincial administration have been directed to ensure the tests proceed as planned.

Speaking at the Arina African Inland church in Kisumu, Murkomen told the candidates that they will be taken care of.
The CS, who was accompanied by Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda, Woman Rep Ruth Odinga, and Kisumu Central MP Dr Joshua Oron, warned that the full force of the law will be brought to bear on those who intend to interfere with the exams.

Murkomen said security agencies have been advised to be on the lookout.
He said his ministry will liaise with his to ensure the smooth undertaking of the exams.
