CS Machogu challenges youth to invest in education

The Cabinet Secretary for Education Ezekiel Machogu has asked the youth of this country to invest in education for a promising future.

He noted that as stewards of the country’s transformational agenda, the Ministry of Education has endeavoured to tap on the large opportunities through research and innovation to assist the youth.

“It is now upon you to rise up and support the Government to help you by living a positive life,” he said.

Machogu who joined leaders from Kisii Community for a thanksgiving Church Service at Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi told them to remain united and support the Kenya Kwanza administration for quick development in the region.

He was hosted by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, Borabu MP Patrick Osero, the newly nominated Kenya Ambassador to Uganda Joash Maangi, Nairobi County Government Chief Officer of Health Geoffrey Mosiria among other prominent leaders in the county.

The leaders from Kisii promised to mobilise resources and members from their communities to forge common economic plans that will create employment among the youth.

They challenged one another to adopt a school from one of their rural homes and use it as an hatching nest for encouraging the youth to embrace quality education that opens avenues of wealth.
