The Milimani Small Claims Court has ordered a teacher to refund Ksh 23, 750 to her lover after failing to show up for a date even after receiving the transport money.
The woman, a teacher at Kianguru Primary School, was ordered to pay the money after her lover successfully sued her for failing to show up after receiving money meant for her transport to his house.
According to reports, the man had initially sent her Ksh3,000 to cover taxi fare so she could attend his birthday celebration.
However, the court heard that although she received the money, she failed to show up and subsequently switched off her phone.
