Commissioner assures total security during exam period

Makueni County Commissioner Beverly Opwora has assured candidates and other examination officers of total security during the examination period as Grade 6 and Standard 8 national exams kicked off early today.

She disclosed that the County has 29,390 candidates sitting for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and 34,372 students sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).

She was speaking while launching KPSEA and KCPE national exams in the county.

“We want our candidates to get the best from us. We will provide friendly environment as well as total security,” said Opwora.

She urged those in charge of manning the examination exercise to make sure that no irregularities are witnessed or reported adding that anyone caught will be dealt with.
