The Chebosi S.A. Boys High School football team from Bungoma County has intensified preparations for the upcoming Term Two games through a series of friendly matches designed to sharpen performance, improve match fitness and build team chemistry ahead of the competitive school football season.
The team is using the build-up fixtures as part of a wider technical plan aimed at testing different tactical approaches and strengthening squad depth as they target a strong showing in the 2026 competitions.
In their latest preparations, Chebosi S.A Boys are scheduled to play three friendly matches in a single day.
The first encounter will see them face Shanderema boys high school at Shanderema Boys, followed by a second match against Lugusi Boys High School at Lugusi Boys.
They will conclude their demanding programme with a third fixture against Tande Secondary School at Tande Secondary.
The packed schedule is expected to provide the technical bench with a clear opportunity to assess player performance across different opponents while giving players exposure to varied playing styles within a short competitive window.

Chebosi S.A Boys have already shown encouraging form in recent build-up matches, including a 2-0 win over St. Paul’s Sinoko Secondary and a narrow 1-0 victory against St. Peter’s Mumias.
Despite these positive results, the team has also faced challenges, including a 2-0 defeat to Butere Boys High School and a 1-0 loss to St. Peter’s Nakalira, experiences that have been used to identify areas needing improvement.
The friendlies are part of a broader rebuilding process following their 2025 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) campaign, where Chebosi progressed through Webuye East sub-county and Bungoma county levels before reaching the Western regional stage.
Their journey eventually ended at the regional level after encountering strong opposition from established sides such as Musingu High School.
With lessons drawn from last season and a more demanding build-up programme in place, Chebosi S.A boys are focusing on consistency, discipline, and improved finishing as they aim to make a stronger impact in the 2026 term two games.
