The family of Moi Nyabohanse student Brenda Momanyi is preparing to lay her to rest after she lost her battle with cancer.
Brenda’s body is expected to arrive at her family home in Risa village, Kitutu Masaba Constituency, Nyamira County, on Friday, September 25, ahead of her burial on Sunday.
Her death has plunged her family, friends and schoolmates into mourning, with those who knew her coming to terms with the loss of a young life cut short by illness.
School community mourns
Brenda was a student at Moi Nyabohanse, and her death has left the school community mourning as preparations for her final send-off continue.
On Sunday, family members, relatives, friends, schoolmates and other mourners are expected to gather at the family home to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of the young student.
The family has received messages of condolence and support from relatives, friends and members of the community as they prepare to bid Brenda farewell.
