Hundreds of learners participating in the ongoing Trans Nzoia County Music Festival at Kitale School received a boost after the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education, Janerose Mutama, donated milk to support their welfare during the competition.

The donation of Ukombozi Milk was warmly received by learners, teachers, and education stakeholders attending the annual festival, which has brought together participants from schools across the county to showcase their talents in music, dance, and cultural performances.

Mutama said the county government remains committed to supporting learners not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities that play a vital role in nurturing talent and building confidence among young people.

She noted that learners spend long hours participating in competitions and therefore require adequate support to remain energetic and focused throughout the event. The milk donation, she said, was meant to promote the well-being of learners and create a conducive environment for them to perform at their best.
