Oriwo Boys High School has released students for the June half-term break, with the school administration issuing strict guidelines on fee clearance and reporting dates for the remainder of the second term.

In a half-term newsletter dated June 20, 2026, Senior Principal Tom Amadi informed parents and guardians that all students released on Saturday would only be readmitted after clearing any outstanding second-term fee arrears.

The school also announced special conditions for students who reportedly left the institution on June 16, 2026.

According to the administration, the affected learners are expected to report back to school on June 30, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., accompanied by their parents or guardians and with the full year’s school fees paid.

The principal outlined staggered reporting dates for students returning after the half-term break.

Form Four candidates will report on June 29, 2026, while Grade 10 learners are expected back on July 1, 2026. Form Three students will report on July 2, 2026.

All students are required to report between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

To enhance accountability during re-admission, students were issued with leave-out chits before leaving school.

The documents must be presented at the school gate during clearance upon return.

Discipline measures

The administration further emphasized the importance of discipline, stating that all learners will be required to sign a declaration form together with their parents or guardians before being allowed back into the institution.

Students who report without a parent or guardian will not be admitted.

The school also reminded Form Three and Form Four students in the Language Department to pay KSh350 for a live set-book performance, an activity aimed at enhancing literature studies and examination preparedness.

Parents were further urged to make arrangements for the provision of homework books to ensure students continue with academic work during the break.

The communication comes as schools across the country continue to implement measures aimed at maintaining discipline, improving fee compliance and ensuring uninterrupted learning as candidates prepare for national examinations.
