Makueni County releases Rugby 7s fixtures ahead of school games showdown

Makueni County has officially released fixtures for the 2026 Term Two Secondary Schools Rugby 7s tournament, with matches set to take place at Makueni Boys High School from July 16 to 19.

Tough Pools Set Stage for Competition

The tournament is expected to attract intense competition as schools across the county battle for supremacy and qualification to the regional level.

In the boys’ category, Pool A features Kitondo School, Kisayani Secondary School, St Peter’s Secondary School, Misuuni Secondary School and Matiliku Boys High School.

Pool B comprises hosts Makueni Boys High School, Makindu Boys High School, Kiongwani Secondary School and Kilungu Boys High School.

Girls’ Teams Ready for Battle

In the girls’ category, Pool A consists of Mwaani Girls, Mulala Girls, Muthingiini Secondary School, Utangwa Girls and Kalungu Girls.

Pool B features St Monica’s, Maau Eli Secondary School, Mbimbini Secondary School, Moi Girls and Mt Carmel Girls.

With only a few weeks remaining before kick-off, anticipation is building across the county as schools intensify preparations for the four-day competition.
