Konoin schools set for thrilling Term Two games showdown

The stage is set for an exciting display of talent, team work and sportsmanship as schools across Konoin sub-county, Bomet County prepare to battle for top honors during the term two Games scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

The highly anticipated competitions will be hosted at Koiwa Estate, Itare Estate, Kimari Estate and Kaptebengwet, venues expected to attract hundreds of students, teachers, and sports enthusiasts from across the sub-county.

In boys’ football, Pool A features Kimulot Boys, Koiwa Boys and Simoti Secondary, while Pool B brings together Chemasingi, Sotit Boys and Kiptenden in what promises to be fiercely contested matches.

The girls’ football competition is equally captivating, with Saseta Girls, St. Monica Girls and Chepchabas Secondary facing off in Pool A.

Pool B comprises Koiwa C, Meswondo, and Cheptalal Girls, all eyeing a place in the knockout stages.

Volleyball action is expected to light up the courts as defending school pride takes center stage.

In the boys’ category, Sotit Boys, Simoti Secondary and Boito Boys will battle in Pool A while Koiwa Boys, Chemasingi, and Kitala Secondary compete in Pool B.

The girls’ volleyball tournament will see Mogogosiek, Kitala Secondary and Chebangang Day School face off in Pool A.

Pool B consists of St. Monica, Bomet county reigning champions Cheptalal, and Saseta Girls, setting up exciting encounters among some of the region’s strongest teams.

Meanwhile, the netball competition is expected to produce thrilling contests, with Cheptalal Girls, Kiptenden Secondary, and Michira Secondary drawn in Pool A.
