In Kisumu Central sub-county, Kisumu Day stunned hosts Kisumu Boys with a commanding 2-0 victory in the finals to secure qualification for the Kisumu county Secondary School Games.
The win marked a significant achievement for Kisumu Day, who silenced the home crowd with a disciplined performance and clinical finishing.
Attention now shifts to Bungoma County, where a fierce rivalry will be renewed in Kimilili.
Chesamis Boys and Kamusinde Boys are set to clash at Sudi Stadium in a high-stakes encounter that will determine who advances to the Bungoma County championship.
With county qualification on the line, both sides are expected to leave everything on the pitch in what promises to be one of the most anticipated fixtures of the competition.

In Trans Nzoia County, six-time national champions – St Anthony’s Boys are plotting a return to the regional stage.
The football powerhouse begins its county championship campaign on June 11 with a tough opening match against Bwake Boys in Cherangany.
Having dominated school football for years, St Anthony’s will be eager to reclaim its place among the region’s elite teams.
Meanwhile, Shandarema Boys booked their ticket to the Kakamega county games after edging out Mukumu Boys in a closely contested encounter.
The victory keeps Shandarema’s hopes alive as they continue their quest for county and regional honours.
In Siaya County, all eyes are on St Mary’s Yala as they pursue county supremacy.
However, standing in their way are former champions Barding High School, a side with a rich football pedigree and the experience to challenge for top honors.
The showdown is expected to be one of the highlights of the Siaya county championships.
With county competitions taking shape across the country, the battle for places at the regional championships is becoming increasingly intense.
Traditional giants are seeking to maintain their dominance while emerging schools are looking to write new chapters in Kenya’s rich school football history.
