Tenwek senior school in Bomet County has sparked excitement among football-loving students and alumni after issuing a light-hearted congratulatory message to English Premier League champions Arsenal F.C. following the club’s title triumph.

In a message circulating widely on social media, the school community humorously acknowledged the strong support Arsenal enjoys among students and former learners of the institution.

“Due to the respect of the many boys and alumni of this great institution that support Arsenal, on behalf of the school community we would like to congratulate Arsenal for their Premier League triumph,” part of the statement read.

The message further announced that during the next Principal’s Talk scheduled for Saturday, Arsenal supporters would be allowed to sing the club’s anthem before the session begins.

Fans were also encouraged to come up with celebratory chants that would attract the highest number of likes and reactions online.

The playful communication, which mixed football banter with school culture quickly drew reactions from students, alumni and football fans across social media platforms.

Phrases such as “ama kweli jana sio leo” and “daima tugange yajayo” featured prominently in the statement, adding a humorous Kenyan touch to the celebrations.
