He has however responded through Osur company advocates who insist that the actions taken by their client was within the purview of the law.

Adem through the law firm maintains that he has not, through their actions, violated the Rules and Regulations Governing the Conduct and Discipline of the trainee of the Kisumu National Polytechnic.

He says that on the 12th of September 2025, the Kisumu National Polytechnic Students Association notified the institution of the intended peaceful procession.

The suspended official says that the Association on behalf of the students of the institution raised a number of issues among them, fee irregularities, intimidation, harassment and unlawful arrests of the TKNP students

Adem denied all the claims and believes that he has not contravened any laws as regards the Rules and Regulations of the Institution.

Consequently, he said he shall not accede to any disciplinary action nor suspension as stipulated in the institution’s letter, and threatened to explore available legal channels to assert his rights should the institution fail to allow wise counsel to prevail.
