Lurambi Member of Parliament, (MP) Bishop Titus Khamala has handed over a modern storey tuition block hosting 8 classrooms to Shibeye primary school administration in Butsotso South ward.
Speaking during the event the MP disclosed, that he has embarked on plans to commission more storey tuition blocks in the next two years urging contractors to expedite the constructions.
MP Khamala further disclosed that the old buildings in the school will be renovated for library, computer lab advancing Shibeye into a school of choice.

MP who is fighting to retain CDF cautioned a section of politicians for the removal of CDF and underscored its significance on infrastructure development of modern tuition blocks.
“If the government removes CDF it means that we line up in Nairobi at Jogoo house in the Ministry of Education which gives just one classroom, leaders opposing it should compare one classroom and the storey tuition block hosting 8 classrooms.” Emphasized Khamala.

He pledged to develop schools for posterity, “We are not building to call people to keep us in leadership, we are building for posterity and for tomorrow,” he stated,
He also reaffirmed his commitment in constructing roads connecting to schools in the remaining two years to 2027 general elections in order to serve the people of Kakamega and Lurambi Constituency in the right way.
At the same time he revealed that issues in bursary allocations were addressed thus the increased students from 3,000 to 5,000.
The MP announced to increase bursaries this year making it better for students in universities and colleges.
He urged his constituents to back him for the remaining two years to complete projects which he started.

“I want to work with people who are trustful. Do not use my name for bribery. I can’t use bribes to deliver services to you.” He affirmed, and warned cartels against engaging in relationships with school girls, with false promises tarnishing his name.
“Cartels using my name it means you are a conman, you are defrauding her of the goods, whatever goods she has, and you are defrauding those students. Use your own language and omit my name in bad acts.” He expressed.
