Joy as Sh22 million bursary to breathe life into education dreams of students in Hamisi

Hamisi Constituency Member of Parliament, Charles Gimosi, has officially launched a Kshs22 million bursary project under the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) at Senende High School.

“Today, I had the honour of launching a Kshs. 22 million NG-CDF Bursary project at Senende High School; an investment that marks yet another milestone in our mission to elevate education standards across Hamisi Constituency,” Gimosi stated during the event.

He emphasised that this initiative goes beyond infrastructure; it’s about creating opportunity, restoring dignity to local schools, and laying the foundation for long-term educational transformation in the Hamisi Constituency.

The launch united school principals from across the constituency in their commitment to nurturing academic excellence.

Gimosi urged them to ensure students, especially candidates, remain in school, noting that “Education is not a privilege; it is a right, and we will continue to protect it.”

Reaffirming his dedication to ongoing development projects, the MP stated, “Our work is visible, measurable, and impactful. Leadership is not about promises; it’s about delivery. And in Hamisi Constituency, we are delivering.”

Key local leaders, including the area Chief, Tambua Ward MCA Hon. Karega Mboku, Hamisi Sub-County Director of Education Mr. Onyango, and the NG-CDF Board, attended the event. Their presence reinforced the spirit of unity and collective purpose driving the development agenda in the constituency.
