Education fraternity in Kakamega mourns passing on of Principal

The late Principal Rukia Muhammed passed on while undergoing treatment at Lifecare Hospital, Bungoma.

The education community in Kakamega county is mourning the passing on of the Principal of Friends Solyo Secondary school located in Kakamega East sub-county.

The late Rukia Muhammed Nyongesa passed away while undergoing treatment at Lifecare Hospital in Bungoma.

Wadau Elimu Kenya, a local education advocacy group, mourned her as a leader with outstanding leadership skills, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the school and its students.

Wadau said that under her guidance the school flourished, becoming a pillar of the community.

The group added that her influence extended beyond the classroom, as she was known for fostering a nurturing environment for both teachers and students.

“We offer our thoughts and prayers to the school as they face this difficult time, acknowledging the profound impact of her absence. Madam Rukia’s legacy of dedication and leadership will be remembered by all who knew her. Her contributions to education will be missed deeply,” they condoled.
