Lugari Member of Parliament (MP) is set to unveil an initiative to support low-performing students in secondary schools.
Nabii Nabwera noted that the programme dubbed ‘Reduce the Tail’ will be fully funded from his pocket and will focus on students in the constituency.
“This initiative seeks to boost KCSE results by convening a two-day workshop tailored to address the needs of students struggling academically,” he said.
The first phase of the initiative will be held on Friday at Maturu Secondary School in Matete sub-county while the second phase will be held at Bishop Sulumeti Girls High School in Lugari sub-county.

According to the MP, the programme will be spearheaded by Lugari Constituency Academic Committee.
“This effort follows closely on the successful completion of an intensive Creaming Programme for high-achieving students, previously held at Kivaywa Boys and Arch Bishop Njenga Girls’ High Schools,” he added.
