A secondary school which was ranked position one in Kakamega County and position 16 in the country plans to sue the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) for cancelling its KCSE results.
Chebuyusi High Principal Boniface Okoth and some leaders from Kakamega County have criticised the move and said they will sue the examination council for the step it took to cancel the school’s results.
190 students from the school are among 1,025 students countrywide whose results were cancelled by KNEC over cheating.
MP for Navakholo Emmanuel Wangwe and Senator Cleophas Malala said that they will take the council to court.
The school head has also demanded a full report on the reason why the results were cancelled.
