All the 9 candidates who sat their 2023 KCPE at the Narok GK Prison will proceed to secondary school at Naivasha Maximum Prison.
While giving the assurance, officer-in-charge Benson Lumeri noted that the prison authorities have put in place measures to enable them pursue their education, including transferring them to a bigger facility.
“This year we had 9 candidates. As a department, we have put elaborate measures to enable them to pursue their education without problems,” he noted, adding: “Serving varied sentences, they will pursue their secondary education at the Naivasha GK Prison.”
They all impressed in the exam, one scoring 315 marks, 6 getting over 200 marks, and the last candidate amassing a total of 138 marks.
Lumeri commended the candidates for their marked discipline and hardwork, urging them to continue with the remarkable display.
