Grief and shock engulfed Bombaba Village of Kenyenya Sub County in Kisii after a Kenyatta University graduate allegedly committed suicide after losing Sh 10,000 through a pool game.

It’s reported that Hesborn Samuel Keraka collected the money from his mother’s business to go and play pool without the knowledge of anybody but unfortunately lost it in the game.

Upon coming back home after losing he switched on his radio to the full blast throughout the night something he never does.

When the mother Mrs. Kerubo Keraka went to check on him at midnight to establish what was going on she found the door of his house locked from inside.

“When I peeped from the window I was shocked to see my son hanging on a rope from the roof.” The mother said

Magena police commander Joshua Limo confirmed the incident.

“He left a note behind instructing his widowed mother to be taken care of by his elder brother who stays outside the country.” He said.

According to his mother, the deceased’s father also died through committing suicide.
