Professionals from Kisii and Nyamira Counties have thanked President Ruto for appointing Dr. Joash Maangi, Millicent Omanga and Vincent Kemosi to the Administrative Cabinet Secretaries (CAC) positions.
Led by former Kisii County Governor James Ongwae, they said that the appointment of the trio is a great honor to the community.
“The president has demonstrated a great honor to our people and I call upon our people to support the government of the day without any reservation,” he said.
Ongwae reminded that the community has served in big positions during the past Regimes led by Presidents Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi, Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta with loyalty and diligence. He promised that the community will continue to reciprocate needs to President Ruto’s government.
“Ours is to forge a government relationship based on the foundations that were laid by our pioneer politicians like James Nyamweya, Lawrence Sagini and Simeon Nyachae who cooperated with the government for the benefit of the people,” he said.
When the people of Bomachoge Constituency learned about the appointment of Joash Maangi to the post of Administrative Cabinet Secretary, they converged at his Tendere home and burst into celebrations.
