Jariel Ndenda from Mangu High School is the top student in 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean score of 87.167 in the examination results that has just been released by the Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George.
During the release of the results at Mtihani House on Dennis Pritt avenue in Nairobi, the CS said that 1,138 out of over 830,000 candidates scored plain As, representing a 0.14 percent.
Magoha added that 145,000 candidates qualified to join university as they have scored C+ and above.
The CS also said that the results of 441 candidates were canceled because they were involved in examination malpractices.
