Young actress Stacy Chepkoech has added another achievement to her growing career after winning Sh200,000 at the third edition of the KMFA Awards.
The Poo Ngetunyo Comedy cast member emerged second in the Kids Got Talent category, finishing behind overall winner Man Kibor, who received Sh300,000. Joy Marvel placed third and received Sh100,000.
The recognition underscores Stacy’s rising profile as one of Kenya’s emerging child entertainers, with her performances earning praise from audiences across the country.
Announcing the winners on Sunday, July 26, 2026, KMFA said the awards were designed to recognise outstanding young performers while supporting their education and personal development.
“We congratulate the winners and wish them success in their education. These awards are intended to support and encourage young talents,” the organisers said.
KMFA explained that the decision to award cash prizes instead of school fees sponsorship was made following the death of the awards’ patron.
“KMFA made a decision to include them in the cash prize category instead of school fees sponsorship after the sudden departure of our beloved Patron. May his soul continue resting in eternal peace,” the organisers stated.
Fourth edition to honour late patron
Looking ahead, KMFA announced that the fourth edition of the awards will continue offering cash rewards in the Kids Got Talent category.
“This category in this year’s fourth edition, our Special Edition that will be honouring our late patron and celebrating talent, will have winners receiving cash awards,” the statement added.

The organisers said the upcoming edition will celebrate the legacy of the late patron while continuing to provide young performers with recognition and financial support to help them pursue both education and their artistic ambitions.
