The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has unveiled the teams that will represent Uganda at the 2026 FEASSA Games set to be held in Morogoro, Tanzania, following the conclusion of the national ball games championships.
Some of Uganda’s traditional sports powerhouses once again secured slots in various disciplines, setting the stage for a strong regional challenge against top schools from across East Africa.
In the boys’ rugby 15s category, Jinja Secondary School, St. Mary’s College Kisubi, Namilyango College and Kings College Budo booked their tickets after impressive performances during the national championships.
The girls’ basketball category will see St. Mary’s Kitende, St. Noa Girls, Nabisunsa Girls and Seroma Christian High School carry Uganda’s hopes at the regional games.
In boys’ basketball, Amus College School, St. Michael High School and St. Cyprian High School, Kyabakadde emerged among the top performers to qualify for the prestigious championship.
Meanwhile, the girls’ football competition will feature Amus College School, St. Noa Girls, Rines Secondary School and Boni Consilii Girls Vocational Secondary School.

The FEASSA Games bring together top secondary school teams from across East Africa and are regarded as one of the region’s biggest platforms for nurturing young sporting talent.
Uganda will be aiming to maintain its strong reputation in school sports when the competition gets underway in Tanzania in August.
