The TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) has opened its portal for candidate registration ahead of the November/December 2026 Assessment Series, urging institutions to beat the registration deadline.
Assessment centres have been encouraged to begin registration immediately and complete the process on or before Friday, October 2, 2026. All eligible candidates must be registered within this window, as the council has confirmed that no further registration will be permitted once the portal closes.
For Cycle 03 under the Modular Curriculum, registration will only be accepted for units in Modules I to VI. The council noted that it will only administer assessments for these specific units, meaning centres should avoid registering candidates for units outside this scope.
In a separate but related update, TVET CDACC announced the successful integration of its portal with the Edu-Bridge Platform, which powers the Electronic Portfolio of Evidence (e-Portfolio). The system was jointly developed with ABNO Software International to support the digital transformation of Competency-Based Assessment.
Through Edu-Bridge, trainers will define the Units of Competency that trainees are expected to undertake, after which trainees can self-register for the approved units. Because these registrations sync automatically to the TVET CDACC portal once approved by institution administrators, the council expects the move to cut manual data entry, reduce registration errors and improve accuracy. This should prove especially useful for centres managing large candidate populations.
Assessment centres set for onboarding
To prepare institutions for the rollout, TVET CDACC, working with ABNO Software International, will run a comprehensive onboarding and capacity-building programme for Assessment Centres.
Finally, the council has asked all Assessment Centres to review and update trainees’ profiles on the TVET CDACC portal, ensuring candidate biodata is accurate and complete. Centres should also update each trainee’s mobile phone number and email address, as this information will be essential for digital alerts, communication, learner engagement and the rollout of the Electronic Portfolio of Evidence (ePoE).
