TSC transfers school principals in new shake-up

Several schools in Kericho get new principals following TSC appointments and retirements.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has implemented several changes in the appointment of secondary school principals in Kericho County.

Those who moved include Dr. Daniel Chelule, who was the principal of Kimulot High School in Bomet County. Chelule has now taken charge at Londiani Boys in Kericho County. He takes over from Dr. Moses Chebii, who recently retired from service.

Similarly, Joyce Ng’eno Kipkurui has assumed the office of Principal at Cheborgei Girls. She took over from Jane Wanjiku, who had previously attended Sacred Hill Girls in Londiani. Kipkurui was earlier at Chepkoton Girls and has now been replaced by Joyce Ojwang from Oloolua Girls in Kajiado County.

At Tebesonik Girls, Edith Njeri has been posted as the new principal. She was previously at Njonjo Girls in Laikipia County. Her replacement at her former station was not immediately apparent.

Also affected by the changes is Zeddy Maritim, who takes the reins of power at Sossiot Girls following the retirement of incumbent, Dr. Jeniffer Kiptui. Maritim was plucked from St. Mary’s Sossio in Bungoma County.

Geoffrey Kipkurui Kosgei is the new Chemamul Principal following the retirement of his predecessor. Kosgei was earlier at Reresik Secondary and has been succeeded by Joshua Ogamba at the station. In a chain reaction of sorts, Ogamba, who was previously serving at Lalagin Secondary, has been replaced by Daniel Kiplagat Korir. The latter was earlier at Chebitet Secondary.

Also in the mix is Daniel Kosgey Kipsang, who was formerly at Kiptewit Boys and now attends Kabitungu Secondary School within Kericho County. He has swapped places with David Kipkorir Kirui, who now takes over at Kiptewit.

On the other hand, Simon Nderitu from Karibuni Secondary in Nakuru County has been deployed to Kaplelatet Secondary in Kericho County. He replaces Johnstone Bett, who was transferred to a school in neighbouring Bomet County.

David Yegon, who has been at Kaitui Secondary in Soin/Sigowet area, has been moved to Chilchila High in Kipkelion. Yegon has been replaced by Simon Kipng’eno Lang’at, who was previously Principal at Kiptobon Secondary. Kennedy Kibet Langat, formerly of Kipsongeruk Secondary, succeeded him at Kiptobon.
