The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has started virtual sensitisation of teachers on membership self-registration for the Public Service Superannuation Fund (PSSF), as it moves to address low participation in the exercise.
The Commission has organised a virtual session for teachers on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to sensitise them on the registration process and encourage more members to complete their details.
A separate virtual meeting for Sub-County Human Resource Officers will be held on Wednesday, August 26, at 9:00 a.m.
TSC County Directors have been directed to mobilise teachers and ensure maximum attendance during the sensitisation sessions.
The exercise comes ahead of the August 31, 2026 deadline set by the Commission for teachers to complete their PSSF self-registration.

The directive was contained in a memo dated August 20, 2026, signed by TSC Director of Human Resource Management and Development, CHRP Chrisantose O. Ogony.
The Commission is using the virtual engagements to create awareness and provide teachers with guidance on PSSF membership self-registration before the deadline.
Teachers who have not yet registered have been urged to participate in the sensitisation session and complete the process within the stipulated period.
