TSC sends condolences to teacher killed in chopper accident

In a solemn message on behalf of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Dr. Nancy Macharia, the Chief Executive Officer, has extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and associates of the late Mwalimu Ahmed Nur Ismael.

In a condolence letter, Dr. Macharia noted that serving as the Acting Deputy Head Teacher at Handaro Primary School in Graissa County, Ahmed met an untimely demise in a helicopter accident while dutifully distributing KCSE examination materials to various centers.

“During his six-year tenure with the TSC, Ahmed’s contributions to education were marked by exemplary teaching and outstanding school management services, earning him well-deserved recognition,” part of the letter read.

Additionally, the CEO highlighted that Ahmed stood out as a notable Information and Communication Technology (ICT) champion in Garissa County, leaving an enduring legacy in the field.
