The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released the complete list of teachers who have been promoted following interviews conducted in January and February this year.
The promotions are part of the commission’s efforts to recognize and reward educators for their dedication and service in teaching.
The promotion interviews for post-primary school teachers took place between January 27 and February 6, 2025, covering institutions such as secondary schools and Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs). Primary school teacher interviews were held from January 13 to January 23, 2025.
Below is the complete list of those elevated to higher job grades.
LIST OF SUCCESSFUL -TEACHER PROMOTION 2024-2025
The interview panels included Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs), Human Resource Officers, and Sub-County Directors, who concentrated on document verification. Teachers had to show their identity, academic credentials, and other essential paperwork to be validated.
The TSC promotion scorecard favoured older educators, with the highest marks for teachers 55 or older. Teachers between 45 and 49 scored 22 marks, while those between 50 and 54 received 26. Candidates between 40 and 44 received 18 points, while those between 30 and 39 received 14.
