TSC promotes two Maseno School deputies to Principals

Two Maseno School deputy principals are among those who have been promoted after interviews which were conducted across the country.

The two deputy principals namely John Okoth and Peter Nyawach have been elevated and posted to various schools in Nyamira County.

Okoth has been posted to Nyameru Secondary School while Nyawach landed at St Danes Eronge Secondary School.

Both Okoth and Nyawach have been force to reckon with at Maseno School.

The duo praised the current Chief Principal Peter Owino for the support he accorded them during their stint as deputy principals.

Former Ringa High school deputy principal Daniel Omoto was also not left out in the arrangement after securing a principal’s position at Nyakakana Mixed Secondary in Kadibo Sub-county.

Kisumu County TSC Director Dr Samuel Marigat recently said the commission has promoted a total of 761 tutors in the area.

Marigat said the teachers in question have started receiving their promotion letters.

Speaking at Bishop Abiero Secondary School during a breakfast meeting Dr Marigat said he has dispatched letters for C1 to C4 which will be followed by D1 to D3 and D5.

Dr Marigat said all the deserving cases have been looked into.

Earlier KUPPET Kisumu County Executive Secretary Zablon Awange asked the government to promote all deserving cases.

He said the government should allocate more funds for employing more teachers.

Awange who was present at the breakfast meeting slammed the government to slashing capitation funding per student.
