Elgeyo Marakwet Teachers Service Commission (TSC) County Director, Ms Loise Murei, has left her job to join the Uasin Gishu County Government.
Murei has been appointed as the Uasin Gishu County Committee Member (CEC) in charge of Environment and Public Service.
Murei, who has also served as County Director in Laikipia and Vihiga, joins a long list of senior TSC officials who have opted to take up appointments with various county governments across the country.
Education News has learnt that TSC is yet to deploy its replacement at Elgeyo Marakwet.
Last week, TSC conducted interviews for several field positions, including deputy directors, county directors, and regional directors.

The vacancies were occasioned mainly by natural attrition factors such as retirement, resignation, and/or dismissal from service.
