Teso North OCPD assures parents, schools of security during KCSE

Teso North acting OCPD Nicholas Kibet has assured area schools and parents that there will be optimal security during the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination period, which is expected to kick off on 22nd this month.

Addressing the press after receiving the first Practical papers, the OCPD said they had put adequate security measures to ensure that the exams are conducted in a credible manner.

“We shall not entertain any manner of malpractices during the exam period. The security apparatus will remain vigilant. Perpetrators of exam malpractice will be dealt with accordingly,” he said.

He also urged schools to adhere to examination rules during the period and individuals found interfering with the examination process will face the full force of the law.
