Students of Teremi Boys High School, in Bungoma County have been urged to maintain discipline and remain focused on academic excellence as a key pathway to success.

Speaking during a mentorship session at the school on Wednesday, Bungoma County Deputy Governor Janepher Mbatiany encouraged learners to embrace moral values, respect their teachers and parents, and dedicate themselves to their studies. She emphasized that academic achievement is closely linked to good character and responsible behavior.

Deputy Governor Mbatiany, who was accompanied by Governor Kenneth Lusaka, warned students against engaging in acts of indiscipline, destruction of school property, and any form of unrest, noting that such actions jeopardize their future and disrupt learning.

“Together, we urged the students to reject indiscipline, destruction of school property, and any form of school unrest. Such actions only destroy your future and slow down the academic progress you are working hard to achieve,” she said.
