Talanta Africa Football Academy (TAFA) recently dominated the Back to School Football Tournament held at the New Hope Soccer Academy grounds in Naivasha, Nakuru County, underlining their growing reputation as a powerhouse in youth football after putting on a commanding and entertaining display against New Hope Soccer Academy.

The Under-13 category provided one of the most exciting matches of the tournament. TAFA and New Hope Soccer Academy played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in regular time, with both teams showing great skill and determination. The contest was eventually decided in a post-match shootout, where TAFA kept their composure to secure a 4-3 victory and lift the Under-13 title.

TAFA’s dominance was most evident in the Under-10 category, where they completely overwhelmed their hosts. In the first match, TAFA recorded a convincing 7-0 win, displaying superior teamwork and clinical finishing. They followed this up with an even more emphatic performance in the second match, humiliating New Hope Soccer Academy 10-1 to leave no doubt about their superiority.

The Under-12 category saw a brief resurgence for New Hope Soccer Academy, who edged TAFA 2-1 in the first encounter. However, TAFA responded in ruthless fashion in the return fixture, dismantling their opponents 7-0 in a one-sided match that showcased their attacking depth and defensive discipline.

In the Under-15 category, TAFA capped off a highly successful tournament by defeating New Hope Soccer Academy 4-2, sealing an overall dominant performance. The results highlighted TAFA’s strong youth development structure and promising future.
