Tala Satellite High School Director Jackline King’ola has challenged alumni of various institutions to support their former learning institutions.
King’ola noted that alumni can support their schools by motivating the current students and infrastructural development.
She commended the alumni of various schools who have undertaken projects in schools and introduced mentorship programmes in schools as a way of giving back to the community.
“A strong alumni association boosts performance in schools. Students need assurance from other students that the future is bright and that they can achieve anything they set their minds on,” she said.
She encouraged the alumni to keep on impacting lives positively as such little acts influence performance in schools.
She encouraged schools to tap into the potential of their former learners through various platforms.
She also commended schools in Matungulu sub county schools for continuously registering sterling performance over the years.
