Sub-county ready for upcoming national exams, says Education Director

Makueni Sub-county Director of Education Onduso Magara has said 4,448 and 3596 candidates are ready to seat for KCPE and KCSE examinations respectively which will kicks off in March.

Speaking in his office, Magara observed that among the 4,448 pupils, there are 2,275 boys and 2,173 girls seating for their 2021 KCPE while among the 3,596 KCSE candidates, 1856 are boys while 1740 are girls.

He pointed out that logistics on the transportation of examination papers to all the examination centers and how it will be manned have been made.

“We have identified the supervisors and invigilators and all vehicles that will ferry exams. All the KCPE and KCSE center managers will be briefed. The rehearsals will take place on February 25, 2022 and March 4, 2022 for KCSE and KCPE respectively,” affirmed Magara.

Magara called upon all education stakeholders to make sure they create a friendly environment for the candidates. He added that all challenges which may arise will be addressed accordingly.
