Sigalagala Poly flags off teams for national TVET Championship

Sigalagala National Polytechnic has flagged off the institution’s teams heading to Mombasa for the National TVET Championships.

The teams will represent the institution in various technical and vocational skill categories, competing against other institutions from across the country.

Speaking during the flag-off at the institution’s grounds, Chief Principal Evans Bosire lauded the students for their commitment and urged them to showcase excellence at the national level.

“You are our ambassadors. Go out there, demonstrate your skills, and make Sigalagala proud,” he said.

The National TVET Championships bring together students from technical and vocational institutions to exhibit their skills, creativity, and innovation in different fields, including engineering, ICT, hospitality, and applied sciences.

Sigalagala National Polytechnic has continued to be a strong contender in the competition, with hopes high that this year’s teams will bring home top honors.
