Shock as Tendere Boys student dies mysteriously

A Bomachoge Constituency Catholic Priest has urged residents to stay strong as they mourn the death of a 17-year old KCSE candidate who fell ill while at school but unfortunately passed away on arrival at hospital.

Timothy Obaigwa said that man has the privilege of higher intelligence and asked them to brave the trying times; and also to coexist peacefully despite social challenges.

The Priest was addressing mourners at Nyansara village during the burial ceremony of the late student, Peter Nyabuto Onyancha, who was a Form 4 student at Tendere Boys School.

According his maternal aunt, she took custody of Onyancha and his elder brother after their parents died and left him and his elder brother at a very tender age.

She then looked for a well-wisher who assisted the deceased to join the school to continue his education but he fell ill days before the mid-term break.

She denied allegations that the boy died out of negligence from the school administration.

Senior teacher Mr. Orina who spoke on behalf of the Principal, said that the school had lost a very resourceful student.

He eulogized the deceased as one of the most focused students in the school who carried his daily studies with least pressure from teachers.

Orina appealed to the rest of the school to emulate their departed colleague by nurturing and maintaining self-discipline.
